When they first met at a Kairos training 8 years ago, Kevin and Nadya had no idea what was in store for them. Kevin was starting his internship soon in another city, so there was little thought for romance. When he visited home, however, he met Nadya again, and soon something began to blossom.

One year later, during another trip home, Kevin asked to meet, just the two of them. “Will you consider, prayerfully, starting a relationship with me?” he asked carefully with no grand romantic gesture, almost like a business proposal. A few months later, in July 2018, they officially became a couple.

Over the next (almost) 7 years, Kevin and Nadya learned more of each other. Like many other couples, they went through ups and downs. Four out of the seven years were spent in long distance. Learning to communicate, understand, and accept each other did not come easily.

However, they realized that God has faithfully sustained and guided them through it all. By His grace, as their love grew, they are ready to take their next step into lifetime.
